Today...I
saw your pain.
I
could not help but wonder how I could
help
in some small way.
You
seemed to be so far away and
than
I saw a tear fall from your face.
I
had nothing to give...
but,
to pray and hope you
would
some how be able to pull
through
another day.
As
a silent echo roared out
among
the still air...
you
did not complain.
I
could not extend my hand
to
you to ease your suffering.
My
heart is heavy and full of sorrow.
I
could not hold you in my arms
today
my friend.
Once
again I was not trust worthy
for
you
when
you needed me.
I
pray to God to help ease your pain.
For
I failed to help you as your friend.
God
help me...
help
you through this unknown journey...
so
that I may help others that
need
a helping hand.
You're
a very special person
that
thinks of not of themselves,
but
others.
So,
I ask you for your forgiveness...
I
hope you understand.
I
will do better as
your
friend and
it's
straight from my heart.
